Custom Foam Packaging
Foam Inserts Engineered So Fragile Arrives Intact
If products show up dented, scratched, or rattling loose, the foam is wrong — not your luck. We design precision-cut foam that holds each item still and absorbs the shocks of shipping, matched to the exact density your product needs.

The Right Foam Is a Spec Decision, Not a Guess
Foam packaging offers cushioning, shock absorption, and a precise fit that keeps delicate or high-value items safe in transit — without adding shipping weight. But "foam" covers thousands of materials, and specifying the wrong one leads to crushed products, failed drop tests, and costly redesigns.
That is where most vendors leave you on your own. We do the opposite: we match the material, density, and cut to your product’s weight, fragility, and surface sensitivity, then prove it before you commit to a run. You get protection that fits — and a foam expert who owns the recommendation.
Why Buyers Choose Custom Foam
Industry-Leading Protection
Superior cushioning and shock absorption against impacts and vibration, so even the most delicate items arrive in perfect condition — cutting damage and the returns that follow.
The Right Material, Every Time
From high-density foams for heavy items to soft, pliable foams for delicate ones, the right choice means proper protection at a cost-effective price point — not over-spec’d, not under-protected.
Engineered to Fit
Custom designs fit your product exactly, maximizing protection while improving pack efficiency and reducing both wasted space and material cost.
Naturally Lightweight
Foam protects without adding meaningful weight — directly lowering parcel shipping costs and your transit carbon footprint.
Premium Presentation
Precisely cut or molded foam elevates the unboxing experience, showcasing your product and reinforcing perceived value and brand quality.
Foam Materials We Work With
Different foams specialize in different jobs — shock absorption, scratch protection, anti-static, void fill, and presentation. Here are the materials we most often spec, and where each one fits.
Polyurethane (PU)
A spongy open-cell foam ideal for shock absorption and cushioning. Its non-abrasive surface is safe against most finishes, and it comes in multiple densities matched to product weight and size. Typically white or grey.
Polyethylene (PE)
A durable closed-cell foam for shock absorption, insulation, and vibration dampening. The textured surface can scratch delicate finishes, so it suits rugged items. Available in densities by product weight; usually white or black.
Convoluted (Eggcrate)
A peak-and-valley shape — usually PU or PE — that delivers more cushion and airflow while filling internal space with less total material. A cost-efficient way to protect lighter items.
Expanded Polyethylene (EPE)
A lightweight closed-cell beaded foam that performs as well as or better than standard PE with less material. Safe for Class-A surfaces like powder-coated metals that scratch easily. Usually white or black.
Crosslink Foam (XLPE)
A high-end, very dense closed-cell foam with a smooth, clean appearance and excellent protection and presentation. Ozone-resistant and common in medical applications. Safe for Class-A surfaces; available in many colors.
ESD Foam (Anti-Static)
Conductive, static-dissipative, and anti-static options in open or closed cell. The product’s ESD requirements determine which grade applies. Often pink, but available in various colors — essential for sensitive electronics.
Common Questions
Foam Packaging Questions, Answered
What types of products benefit most from foam packaging?
Fragile, sensitive, or high-value items — electronics, medical equipment, delicate instruments, and luxury goods. Anything that can scratch, crack, or fail a drop test is a candidate for custom foam.
Can foam be customized to my exact product?
Yes. We engineer foam to your precise dimensions and protection needs, choosing density, shape, and properties (anti-static, flame-retardant, Class-A-safe) for an optimal, secure fit.
How do I know which foam is right for my product?
It comes down to weight, fragility, surface sensitivity, and static requirements. Bring us the product (or its specs) and we’ll recommend the material and design — that recommendation is on us, not on you.
Is foam packaging sustainable?
Increasingly, yes. We can spec recyclable materials, biodegradable foams, and designs that minimize waste, matched to your environmental goals. Material science here is improving fast.
Does custom foam really lower my total cost?
Often. The right density prevents damage-related returns, lightweight foam cuts parcel shipping cost, and a precise fit reduces wasted material — savings that typically outweigh the foam itself.
